Roundtrip via Azilal driving through a very pleasant valley and return via Beni-Mellal. Descent towards the foot of the 100 m high waterfalls in a setting of lush green vegetation.Return through the oued el-Abid gorges, resembling the typical landscape of a western.
Valley wedged between the impressive mountainsides of the high Atlas. Ochre pisé villages in the heart of the Jbel Toubkal. We start in Caid-Ouriki, and follow the Ourika river. Splendid views of the Jbel Yagour (2726 m). Opportunities for hiking (Anameur).
Then on to Setti Fatma. Magnificent views of the Angour and a walk at an altitude of 1500 m.
Round trip. We drive up the Tahanaout Valley and are welcomed for tea by Berber mountain villagers. After going through Asni the track climbs towards Sidi Fares as we discover other Berber villages ; it then continues through the Oukameiden valley and further on through the Ourika Valley. We take a walk to the Setti Fatma waterfalls. There we stop for lunch. Return via Caid Ourika to Marrakech.
Essaouira, the ancient Mogador surrounded by pink ramparts attracts many artists. The harbour with its hustle and bustle when fish is sold by auction and its traditional fishing boat building. The Medina with narrow lanes and white and blue houses. It is famous for its cabinet makers.The beach is windswept but it is also one of the most beautiful beaches in Morocco.
Berber mountain villRound trip. We drive up the Tahanaout Valley and are welcomed for tea by agers. After going through Asni we reach the Imlil valley. A 1 or 2 hour ride on a mule, a break for lunch in a guest-house in Imlil. Return via Moulay Brahim to reach the Lalla Takerkoust dam.
