Day 1
Marrakech
From Marrakech, access to the High Atlas through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260 m).We reach Aït-Ben Haddou, just before Ouarzazate. After the track to Skoura (palm grove) we discover the beautiful Amridil kasbahs and drive through the Valley of Roses (elkelaa des-M’Gouna) enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of the High Atlas with picturesque Berber villages.We take the road again towards the Dadès gorges.
Day 2
Merzouga
Road to Merzouga. On the way after the Tingherir palm-grove we take a walk in the very impressive Todgha gorges (defile of 300m-high cliffs). From Erfoud the road gives access to the wonderful site of the Erg Chebbi dunes, then it reaches Merzouga. Departure late afternoon riding dromedaries to bivouac in the dunes.
Day 3
Drâa Valley
After watching the sunrise over the dunes and breaking camp, we start our return journey riding our dromedaries. After Rissani,, we descend towards the Drâa Valley riding through wild landscapes. After Nekob and Tazzarine, the road leads ud to the palm-grove of the Drâa Valley. We make our way back via Agdz, the Tizi-N-Tinififft pass, the Tifoultoute kasbah before reaching Amerzgane and the Tizi-N-Tichka pass. Return to Marrakech.
It is also possible to spend one extra night in the desert or to stop one night in Agdz or Ouarzazate
