Day 1
Marrakech
From Marrakech, we access to the High Atlas through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260 m). and then reach the beautiful kasbah of Aït-Ben Haddou just before Ouarzazate. We continue to Skoura , discovering beautiful kasbahs (Amridil) before the Valley of Roses (elkelaa des-M’Gouna) enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of the High Atlas with picturesque Berber villages until the Dadès gorges.
Day 2
Dadès
Road to Merzouga. After leaving the Tingherir palm-grove we take a walk through the very impressive Todgha gorges and reach Tinejdad (fossils). From Erfoud we reach the erg Chebbi dunes - a magical experience - and travel on to Merzouga. Late afternoon and riding dromedaries we begin a journey to reach our bivouac in the dunes. Dinner and night under a tent. Magic !
Day 3
Merzouga
Road to Fès. After the sun has risen above the dune-summits we leave the bivouac and travel through the Ziz valley and its palm-grove, reaching Rachidia. After Midlet we discover the giant cedar trees at Azrou and the « Little Switzerland » of Ifrane before arriving in Fès.
This circuit can also be done from Fès to Marrakech.
